Fliers in Text Form

I don't necessarily agree with Fliers & Banners on websites Unless there's embedded text in the file. in most cases, there its not like that.

The foundation of social media was driven by people writing in text form on forums & blogs. and even today, Anything written in text will ways be found prior to  a standalone image. Unless that image has text embedded into the file,  and I'm not talking about an image with words on it.  I'm talking about the info data which makes  up that file’s text area.

I always see flier images advertising something. no doubt it’s all eye appealing, but at the end of the day if someone's searching a website, they will run in to Text before they get an image, especially if that image doesn’t have the text embedded.  Fliers are kind of a pet peeve of mine.
