I Did this for my Cousins in the ATL. Whats up Family.

As you know (or do not know) .. The 4th was my mommas birthday; so we went by Latrice's house. I have pics from her new neighborhood and some ugly ones of me just messing around.

Here's something for the folks who are reading my blog for the first time & are lookin' at the pics.. Here's the story behind this ... You May notice that My sisters house has no real furnature. The Reason is because we were displaced from our homes during katrina and we ain' got the kind of money to buy real furnature just yet & we dont plan to buy much...


Someday FEMA Benifits Will be cut and we'll all have to work to stay in houston...either that or head back to NOthing .. err.. New Orleans..lol

I Love My City But We Need to step up.

...Just Made me think!...

Homeless/Poor People can actually gain access to all the recources they need if only they go & look for it.
South Union Community Development Center is one of those resourses. Why? you ask.. .. Well, You have a Food Bank, Free Clothes , Drug & Alcohol Rehab, Computer Training & Access to the Internet in One Building. Thats Just about Amazing Don't you think?


WE (My Family) Also Lived in Public Housing for decades & all the Resources were nearby. we didnt have to look for much... All we had to do was Strive to make it Out (of the hood) ...We had things to do to occupy our time But there werent many community centers Especially like the ones they have in Houston. We had Recreation Centers in N.O .. you know the kind that had Parks, Swimming Pools & Gyms.. Maybe a game room or two...but they weren't like Out here. In Houston, Community Centers are all over the place. .. See me.. when I get back to N.O Im gonna try to get somethin' started myself ..:)..... All I gotta do is ask for it & then Pursue my goal... This Would Require going to school & finishing... .. Man Man MAN... Im Brainstormin' today ... WHOOOO!!
