There was a salvation army guy who knocked on my door & also on my neighbors. We both answered at the same time. but the other door was a little boy. so the SA guy asked him for his parent & the little guy said they weren't home. So the SA guy told him to go inside because he doesnt like to ask the kids without parents... SO!! .. He turns to me and says.
Hi Im (Name Goes Here) and Im with that Salvation Army (Points at emblem on shirt similar to the above logo). and were taking donations to help families of underprivlidged kids. Im Not asking for a big donation just give what you can give to help us.
So I said. Well Im Sorry Sir But Im A Katrina Survivor from New Orleans LA and I dont have much Myself. I Would If I could But I just Cant. Sorry Sir...
and he relied, Oh Sorry, Well, Have a Happy New Year. I said "Same to you" and Good Bye...
Then I walked Inside and I thought about it. HE didnt have The Little Salvation Army Bucket. HE Had a Pringle Can. I've Never seen a SA Guy with a pringle can. This made me think that he was fake. But yet He had an official shirt on & sounded leget. He also was a white guy.(doesnt mean anything) . but hey .. A Pringle Can!!
Im not Donating to a guy who holds Contributions & Donations in a pringle can. Maybe an Idaho Potatoes Can. But not a Pringles can? ... man...
Was he Fake or Real? Im Not Sure.... I Should've asked for Identification
Although This is West Virginias News Check This
Someone is going door to door, asking for donations for the
Salvation Army but it's not someone from the Salvation army. If someone comes to
your door asking for money, ask for identification or call the Salvation Army
office, but don't give him any money.
So I Guess Its Fake Eh?
.. I Guess he was. Because The Walk In Gates to this community are now locked. Some one must've filed a complaint to the office..
Good Huh?
