This morning a good friend of mines was in a bad accident, Terrell Batiste Also Known as Burger was Hit by a Speeding car that jumped off the road as he attempted to fix a flat tire. I just found this out from his cousin Jared who talked to burgers mom. Other than that all I knew at first is that he was in an accident & lost his legs.. Jared says he's okay though
I got the news at about 6 pm from my Brother-N-law & I went on a phone calling Hiatus. I called many people such as some old band directors and friends/band brothers of Burger to let them know what happened. But now I have that detail from his family to share.
Burger is One of the Coolest & Best Baritone Players I know. I marched with him at Kennedy High School In N.O . I don't have any pictures of him in Uniform but yet there are pictures of him on
the Hot & Brass band Website Burger was supposed to be performing a gig sometime soon but never made it back to N.O.
Pray for Burger His Family & The Hot 8 yall
