What Sounds good to them, sounds bad to us ( new orleans band folks)

its wild how the current new orleans sound is actually "good" comepaired to other bands in the state and the bands have declined since Katrina ...

There are people out there who thinks that bands like Reed will automatically be Good ( or what they classify as good) if they get a band..

Its like 35 came back and they gettin props just cause they are 35 .. Thats Respect .. but niggas here know that aint how 35 supposed to sound ... 35's sound was unique

Now they sound like John Mac when Jeff first got there ..lol

Yall know what im sayin... .. Its like .. people are looking at our band for what they were (which is good) but yet they think that Thats also the "pre katrina sound .. and that aint good ...

Them Baton Rouge band who think they are good would only fit in the category with Clark, Abe , Fortier Carver in The 90's when these were the Back of the Parade bands..

They are the same folk who thought that MAX was ST Aug...lol .. when they were not..lol

Yeah Our band hold up names .. but now they catch us on a down site and Still think thats good ... man our bands used to bring more heat than that BR Metro Crap / LLI Comebined .. We Were not Impressed by any of it .. When Those band Face N.O's all we do is Compare to who they are most like and who they Cant beat..

Just because these bands have/ will return doesnt mean they will be under the same leadership nor if tradition will continue..

Oh yeah .. and Mr Brimmer is teaching Instrumental Music at Charles Drew Elementary/middle ... :)
