Here we have the MRE (Meal Ready to Eat). It Consist of healthy (or Hearty) choices of Boxed/bagged foods which can be eaten if only the person who gets one can Read.
Well, During my time spent on I-610, I realized that Not Everyone there Can Read, Either that or they had too much on their minds to even Think of reading.. Well.. Here's why i say this...
When The Army Dropped The MRE's nobody had a clue how to prepare the meal. All they knew was that Theirs Food and lots of plastic. Well, The people would open these boxes to find that their is a Rock-like pad within this package, nobody knew what it was for. WHY because they didnt Read the Instructions thats why!
Basically, You had to Boil the food, The only way to do that was to take the Plasic bag that has the Heat-stone put your food in the bag, then add watter.. Fold and hold the top of that sucka and Watch it Boil, Do that for a minute and your Meal is Ready to Eat ..lol just make sure you're holding it at a far distance from your face or you'll die of 4th degree burns ..lol
In the actual instructions they ask you to add the water, fold the top and sit it under a Rock or something Heavy enough to keep it steady.. We didnt have all that we used our hands ..lol
But hey, Most of us Didnt read all of that, we saw and were taught how to use the product from Others who actually Read the box. Just Imagine how bad some of those Non-Readers may have starved. Its wild that they gave out bottled water, it wasnt cold so the best thing to do was heat the pad with it.
In a way, I liked those things. It would be nice if The Army could send me a load of those!
But Either way, Like i said in the Begining... MRE's - Can Read? Can't Eat...
