There is this car commercial here always playing Curtis Mayfields' "Move On Up"

Thats song is one of my favorite joints by him. Dude had some positive or meaningful music.

songs like freddys dead, superfly, gypsy woman, stone junkie and so on....... this man was a beast ..lol

i think thaat if he wouldve grown up in the 80's/90's he wouldve been like Talib Kweli ..

Talib kinda reminds me of C.Mayfield because of how he keeps it Real/ not to much Negitive from the streets ..all his outcomes of his songs like positive outlooks on life .. like saying "im telling you this because i dont wanna see my people in this situation"
