What Men Want.. .. shew... what i want lol

thinkslow's topic from AfroChat

What men want

To the men out there, what do you personally want and value in relationships or just everyday interactions with women?

Background-
I just read an article in the latest issue of Essence titled 'what men want' where they surveyed almost 1000 black men about what they preferred in women. I was somewhat disappointed in this article (and am growing increasingly disappointed in essence, but that's another thread) as it listed things men want that are pretty much static for the most part and are not things a woman can change, such as physical features (she looks like nia long), number of children, age, personal beliefs (whether or not men and women should share household duties), etc. So while I myself have wondered what men really want in various relationships, what I really think would be helpful for me is things I can realisticly adjust and change about the way I approach or handle interactions or issues with a man.

So My Answer was Happiness

here is what i told her

Cheese Biscuit, I said Happiness Because it Defines just about everything

Most Relationships/Marriges from what i have learned and experienced are Confusing. and most of it is because Lack of trust and love for their partners. If There was a way to eliminate all the confusion within our Love Lives We'd be Happy ...

for starters is Just to Agree on Simple things instead of making big arguments about everything

love is not supposed to be confusing.

If everybody looked the same, act the same, had the same beliefs, the only thing that would be a factor in life is Love which should end up in happiness

and I want my woman to be happy & she shall want the same for me. This would include Everything true relationships have to offer.. thats a whole lot of lovin'
