Pray For Louisiana

If you haven’t been paying attention to the news. Hurricane Katrina is a Category heading Directly for Louisiana. Thousands have evacuated from the coast. but there are thousands more still at home. Such as me, I live in New Orleans. We’ve gotten Strong winds through out the decades of hurricanes, but we havent had a Direct hit since the 60’s. That Hurricane was a catigory 3. its a State of Emergency for us. New Orleans is Way below sea level. It wont be the hurricane that kills our people. Its The Water. The Flooding. Just imagine 15 to 20 foot waters gushing toward you from the lakes, rivers.& Bayous, lagoons & Canals, Flooding. they basically shut down the city at noon.

There are city officials driving around with bullhorns trying to get people to leave. or head for the superdome

All the years of talking of previous hurricanes and floods & how New orleans is a sinking city … Its happening.

Pray for our people.

Hopefully I will survive & I’ll be back when the electricity comes back on.
