JFK Under Water

This is a Picture of my alma mater. John F. Kennedy High School, Home of the Cougars.

For Those of you who didnt know. This School sits on Bayou Saint John in New Orleans' City Park. This is Near Lake Pontchartrain. The Ground is Very Low in that area

You could See That Wisner Blvd. Is Dry. .. WHY? .. Because Wisner is actually a Leeve itself. See .. Other than the concrete levees there are Hills that we use as levees also.

At The Top of the screen is The Lake

The Bottom is Kennedy ..

EVEN LINE

Looks like one of the portables are crushed. & the water is just about at the 2nd floor.

This means that everything other than the classrooms on the 2nd floor have been damaged

this is Millions of dollars in Tech Hardware & software gone.

The Offices, The Art room, the ROTC room, The Bandroom, Gym, Vocal Music Room & Auditorium are gone. No More Fight Song because all of our Classic & Traditional Music & Band Uniforms have been Destroyed.

That Big Block to the Bottom where the gate runs from the corner to the portables to the Streets . was the students parkinglot / The Bands Marching Feild. .. Gone
