Man, For me, Being in Houston where Mardi Gras Dosent Reallu Exist, its crazy. They do parades in galveston But you have to pay to go. Sux...

I spent 8 years of my life Participating in those parades. marching 8 to 10 Parades with convintions and other performances on the side were just great. It was hard work But we all had to do it. especially when The bands are Just that Good. Excitement everything.

I Remember The Hermes Parade where we did a Pre-Hermes Convention for the Men who Threw Throws from floats .. We'd March through the French Quarters to some random Hotel where they'd all get dressed. & while they were getting dressed we'd play in the costume room. .. the funny part is that Its usually a whole bunch of 30 to 50 year old Men, walking around Drunk & Mostly Nude..lol ..We didnt let the girls March in the Naked room neither year...

Then After that we'd go to Wendys while another half of the band is either marching somewhere else or is a Dominos ..lol Yeah .. Those were the days ..lol
