Because of Who they are: LLI Represents ALL OF LOUISIANA

For all of you who feel that LLI should only consist of Baton Rouge area Bandsman

LLI All Stars is A Representitive of Our States band programs a a whole,

There shouldnt be any "Hating" on LLI. Why.. Because the same cats who are in that band, have marched in Your HS / Communities band also.

LLI Key word LEADERSHIP. If The members of LLI's band are "LEADERS" they need not to participate in the bashing of another band unless it's of a Challange or Comments regarding anothe bands Performance.

YOU LEAD LOUISIANA... Note .. THIS SHOULD MEAN that NO OTHER BAND IN THE STATE SHOULD BE A COMPARISON TO YOU ALL.

LEADERSHIP - Should be The BEST because if Not, Nobody would want to follow the LEADER

Members Of Southern University's band should not have anything against LLI's members. Because LLI Represents SU's band also.

LLI's BD's were once Members of Southern Universities Band and are current Band Directors at Schools al over Louisiana ..

LLI is now The one of Louisianas Leading Feeders in to SU's band ..

This Band Also Represents Grambling because its a LOUISIANA band ..

LLI's band is not a BATON ROUGE band, its a LOUISIANA BAND.. Therefore the LLI Banner should not say "Louisiana Leadership Institute Marchng band of Baton Rouge Louisiana" ... It Just Doesnt make since when the Name is in the Title...

LLI's Band is an Orginization that you should be proud to have in this state

If You were apart of LLI you shouldnt Deny it. No mater what the situation is.

I wrote all of this because LLI is going out there to Represent ALL OF LOUISIANA's SHOW BAND COMMUNITY while Performing in this parade.. I hope they show them Looking Good on TV too
another reason is because I was once a New Orleans Bandsman and The School I attended No Longer Exists, I would love to see my school perform again.. but It may never EVER happen.. LLI Represents JUST WHAT THAT IS...





My former BD's have assisted /are assisting LLI's band .. Relitives of My Fellow Bandsman from New Orleans are in that band.




I was in New Orleans Public Schools All Star band. I marched durring the 2nd and 3rd years .... That band had only 5 years of existance and We thought we had something great going.... We didnt do anything Near what you have accomplished in 4 years..


We only Perfomed at Local events Such as the NOPS all star football game, parades and a few Saints games. The Furthest they had ever gon was to Houston Texas for a game at TSU..

THAT IS NOTHING COMPAIRED TO WHAT LLI IS DOING .. yeah yall have way more pull than N.O had .. but Its Amazing that LLI's band had Traveled to Places I've Never Been with any band i've been in. nor in Life..

so........To end this off..

I wanna Congradulate the Band Directors, Members, former members and Everyone else who participated in the Creation of a Great Organization.

Congrats for Performing at the Tourny of Roses parade,,,

Yeah Other Black Bands HS and College Have done and May participating this year

But YOU Represent US...
