still a VISTA

I still consider myself as an AmeriCorps*Vista although I resigned in September. I wish I hadn't because I neen to get back with them now. I don't know if they'll let me. I still have my shirt. I think i still have the info i once had. I wouldn't mind another trip to Austin or Boston to Re-Start Activity.

After Joining, I realized that Being a Vista was just an organization to help me do what I love to do.
It also made me realize that I don't really need a specific title to actually do the things i have done while working. I was like an IT Consultant / Database Manager / Teacher /Everything..lol
And it feels good to have done so..

I still live the live of a VISTA and that is Helping my people to submerge from poverty and become a stonger community. being that I am who I am and where I came from. I am part of the poverty and it takes a mind like mind to be apart of the uplifting of a community. I think i just repeated myself.. oh well, this is a blog. (haha!)

With AmeriCorps and Working in the Incorporated world. made me realize that I can be myself on the job. as long as it looks professional. .
