Here's what I sent to the email of that teacher

I know that FEMA money wont really got direct to the RSD schools of N.O but its a start. although you posted that info a month ago, I see that not much has changed with NOPS / RSD schools since the beginning of this school year. My brother attends an Charles Drew Elementary which is also an RSD school, He doesn't have books so we let him do his homework on the computer..at times he'd home hungry because they ran out of lunches before he made it to the Cafeteria. we asked him to bring snacks with him but he said that its against school policy. after seeing it in the news and hearing the kids talk on the radio, it makes you want to complain to somebody, I guess this is where FEMA comes in. To me, it doesn't matter how much money goes in to the schools, Its what can be done with the money in a quick but productive way. maybe if the gov't cared about our students educations, we'd have a better system and funds to support it.
