Atlanta Banning "BAGGY" not "SAGGING" pants

I don't think that they realize what the difference is..

I saw an interview on Fox News (not that video) last night about this. I seriously think they have it all wrong. They want to ban "BAGGY" pants. In my opinion You can ban all the pants you want to.the kids will still sag their pants.

I'm not going to Argue the whole Jail House thing. We've discussed this many times in N.O's Schools as well. The Kids know it doesn't look good. But They get it from what they see in the hood. It's been something going on since the early 90's and hasnt stopped amongst the upcoming Generation of kids.

I personally think it looks stupid.

I feel that BAGGY is not what they want to ban.

I wear baggy pants... Why? Because im FAT and i need the Leg room. I Refuse to wear leg hugging pants. when I was in school I wore the Old style Dickies Uniform Pants. They didnt have a Sell pocket and they were TIGHT ON THE LEGS. This meant that I had to Wear a Size Bigger than my waist in order to fit my legs well. By 11th grade. I had Influenced my parents to by me some "New Dickies" (the New style) which had been around for 3 years by that time. My dad was against it just like other random folks did because it had a Cell phone pocket. It was the dumbest thing in the world to attempt to outrule tha pants by school laws. but it was tried many times. These parents Just like my Dad, Did not realize that We wanted the pants because they were a looser and more comfortable fit. to this day. I still wear dickies and perfer them over jeans because they are more comfortable to wear an any weather.

.. Back to "Sagging" ...

Many have Sagged in there baggy or loose fit pants. But there it's also a population that DONT SAG and only wear the pants for comfort. Yeah, Its not pleasant to see a mans underwear But if thats what They want to do, Let them do it.

Sagging is Wearing Your Pants below the waist. and they seem to define the people who do so... Such as the "Wanna Be" Thug type. and "I'm doing it because everybody else is" type" Like i sad, whether the pants are Baggy or not. people will sag.


Baggy pants are for comfort. It would be hell trying to make people with big legs, fit in to "regular fitting" pants


Baggy pants and Sagging in pants are totally different things and These people don't seem to understand that
