So I'm watching the movie "Hood Rat" I realize that the ending theme was a Hip hop version of The WWE's Kane theme, and Now I want it!! .That movie was crazy.
As for me, After a weird Sunday Im Bummed out man, lol.. I've been uploading photos or at least trying but Picasa's acting funny .. I have to get these pictures on Bandhead.org ASAP. but Picasa is acting funny. I downloaded the latest beta version after about 10 tries with picasa2. now im testing a youtube videoslideshow type of thing.
So Let me tell you about My Sunday.. I Went to the Drumline Live High School Battle of The Bands at Tad Gormley Stadium. I left the house EARLY to get in. I was out the door by 11:00 .. Yet and after forgetting my batteries and Waiting in Line for 2 hours. I was one of the First people to stand in line ..
but as soon as the Security came, They decided that they didnt want Any Bags in the stadium.. and they ment NO BAGS .. So I was pulled over to the side because I wanted to bring my bag in.. I got Questioned by one of the Organizers of the event. He came at me with all kinds of things. And although he was right. It really Had Little to do with Me Bringing my Bag in. He asked me Who was I, Who do I represent and so on and so fourth, He kepts saying "I Dont Know who you are" ..I told him my name and everything ..lol he even got me cause i didnt have a business card. .. Maybe I don't have my Own Buisness, Maybe I'm Not Pro. But I do what I do because i can. All I wanted to do was bring my Camera In. I didnt want a Media Pass. Well I Did, but they told me they didnt have any when i got my ticket earlier that day... Now.. Like i said .. The Guy Questioned me for a while and had allowed me to go in as long as i got my bag checked first...but i still went ahead and got me a media pass thanks to Gerard who also came in not having his pass and fending for me on that level.. The only thing that got me is that I got Drilled on because i said "I Need my Camera Bag, Its Where Hold My Cameras". After that it was no Problem, Then I was able to head down to the field Even thought it wasnt my original plan.
See, Last year I worked that stadium without a Pass at all. and apparently this time I needed to have the Credintials to prove that what I do is Not For Profit Media.. IM LIKE DUDE IM JUST TAKING PICTURES AS ANY SPECTATOR WOULD... I could have done this from the stands only as i did in the past. but with the media pass, I was able to be MEDIA and not just stand around and do nothing like some other fools that had passes were doing. .. All this just because I wanted to get my bag in..LOL.. its like I baught a Ticket 4 nothing..
Anyway man.. I had a great time, The Bands were better than expected, I wish more were there, but i hear that many backed out at the last minute. Doug E. Fresh was in the Buildin'!, Bruce Davenport Donated his artwork to someone. that was cool.. yeah.. I didnt stay at the end because Soulja Boy's Crew Took Over the battle by Cutting off one of the bands in the mist of play..... That Ruined it for The Bandheads. yet all the Girls wanted to see Soulja Boy smh ..lol
I have The Pictures and everything from the event that I will be posting on The Sport real soon...
.. It just got me that My I was stopped because I had a Bag..lol ..
yeah man.. after all that walkin' My legs hurt ..LOL
At the end of the day , That Guy was Right, I should actually have proof that I am Legit, because without the credentials or the proof of my work, what I do seems pointless. Even if i Don't get paid for it. I consider myself as a frelance photographer. Yet I chose not to sell untill I am Comfortable with my own Camera Work. I've been at "Target Practice" at these events basically. .. LOL AND I THINK I DROPPED THE TOWEL!! ..lol
anyway yall man.. I just needed to get that out.. "The Book" is a Work In Progress.. I Might wind up doing another Photo Blog.. .. Gotta get me some business cards and a media pass like Bonose would do.. just to keep it real...
