The Storms In Florida

So I've been watching the latest on the storms, I feel bad for the families of the lost ones... Last time I checked, It was 19 dead. i wonder how FEMA and Red Cross is gonna handle this. It seems like Tornado's are ripping up everything since Katrina's time. The wind just hadn't been right. Tornado's are so unexpected too. The thing about them, they're always in Rural areas where there are small neighborhoods and with large open fields .. Maybe if the land was more populated, Tornado's wouldn't spark often.

Historic Hoods of N.O.

For months they've been speaking on the Historic significance of the hoods, Mainly as in the years or existence. the 4 hoods they want to get rid of have been in around since before the 1960's. Historic buildings come with Historic Problems .. yes TRUE .. but people still need places to stay. they shoulnt be torn down. they NEED to be renovated though. The reasons are because cabinets, counters , heating units and bathrooms need to be changed and updated and Im mainly talking about The St, Bernard. As for The Laffite Projects, those are some SMALL apartments. good for small families OR PEOPLE WHO NEED AFFORDABLE HOMES. As for the others, I haven't been on the Inside. I can tell u that the older side of the St Bernard is Similar to the Laffite. IBERVILLE IS OPEN but they were "Flooded" just like Laffite. .. They wanted to tear them down way before the storm to build a stadium.. Iberville itself is in a Historic area .. NEAR the French Quarters, NEAR Canal Street.. .. NEXT TO KRAUSS The Bad part about that.. They were built around the time where Black People had to pass a brown paper bag test to get in to one of the HISTORIC shops and stores ..

What they really wanna do is Replace these buildings with parking lots so that they could be ticket users for not paying the Dollar Meters... Money that doesn't go anywhere...

Lets say they do build the New Hoods... Here are somethings i need to know...

Are they gonna be at least 3 foot off the ground? Like they are NOW
Are they going to be BUILT STRONG with Brick? Like they are NOW
Are they Going to be SURVIVOR HEIGHT? Like they are NOW

...like they said..

We need BETTER... Those BETTER homes that were built before Katrina buy HUD in DESIRE WERE DESTROYED .. .. Now DESIRE is saying "LOOK AT ME" .. .. where are their members .. SCATTERED.. .. how GOOD were they? ..

WE DONT NEED TO BUILD FOR FAILURE... ...
THREE LITTLE PIGS....
Yall know what I mean...
The reasons ask is because Most of the people in these neighborhoods SURVIVED the storms because the buildings were High rises... I would've been DEAD if I lived Close to the Ground (or if i was stupid enough not to get to higher ground) I think that everyone who survived deserves to Return.

Yeah Mixed Income MIGHT reduce Crime .. But yet With out The hood Crime is Still on the rize .. and the neigborhoods these are happening in Are MIXED income. and full of different races. UPTOWN DOWNTOWN EVERYWHERE! ..

Song on The Side

Yeah I took the song of because i realized that some things werent "Clicking" right....

thats all for now.
