I was at Dillard University for Homecoming activities saturday. There was a parade and a block party that really wasnt a party at all. and there also were 2 basket ball games that i didnt stay for. but hey It was nice.
I got to meet Carver's Current band Directors and attempted to get some good Footage of the bands that marched in the parade.

Afterward I spent time on Campus and took a Walking Tour with the Sigmas. which was funny because my boy Roy and I were making Jokes about Dillard and Sigmas prior to The Tour. I mentioned that The Trees had No Fraternity Plots and because of the School's colors being Blue and White everybody walks around looking like Sigmas ..lol We Even Claimed a Tree ..LOL The Biggest one too..
But yeah I thought it was funny because of all that Joking I did prior to the actual tour. the sigmas refereed to it as a Virtual Tour (lol) .. we didnt go in any buildings but we pointed many things out.
at the end of the day I realize why You never see things going on at Dillard.. its because it all takes place Behind the large building that sits out front. I grew up Near the school and Would say Wow its a quiet school. .. Well the good thing is that Its one of the Top Schools in the Country. Yet It doesnt have Many Students. There are high schools in the city with More students. Dillard is a very Friendly Environment though. If I could go i would. but I wouldnt be able to get in.. LOL I'll be at the Community College in the Park ..LOL.
There are more events going on today i believe. But yesterday was a big day there. I should have stayed for the game.
at the end of the week I might go ahead to SU to get some Bayou Classic Tickets.. yep
