Apparently they killed Donatello

When I saw this Image today, I asked myself, WHY WOULD THEY KILL OFF THE ENGINEER?
Donny was the Thinking Turtle, Although he didn't get everything right, he was always keen on making things work.. He was the "iron man" of the turtles.
