Ethnic & Urban | Words I Dislike when used wrongly

Those two words I have no means to use in my every day language, mainly because people use those words to describe something that they’re not part of.

of course with Ethnic being associated with a certain group of people, and Urban as it relates to City life. But More commonly people have used these terms to describe anything relating to American Minorities.

It’s not cool to bluntly say things like “I want it to look more ethnic”…   ethnic How? 
Truth of the matter is that everyone is born into an ethnic group. I could understand Associating certain activities with a common culture or Race of people. But if you’re going to do that. at least name the group you’re referring to if you don’t want to sound like a racist while trying not to be.

If you live in a Rural of Suburban area, It’s all good to say describe common city activities as urban. but when you break it down to say “Urban areas” when referring to neighborhoods where Minorities dwell, that’s not cool. you might as well name the major race in the specific neighborhood.

Urban Radio usually plays genres that relate to specific ethnic groups. other music is referred to by those ethic groups as “White peoples music” but what is white peoples music exactly? is it the Music they make in general, or is it the music we commonly associate white people with?  That would be Pop and today's rock music.  There’s also Country music, which represent a certain breed of people who consider themselves as “Country” .. that's a Culture like The Hip Hop Culture. or even the Rockers, they all are urban, right?

With that said…Race has little to do with musical preference. But when you turn on a station, the folks hosting the show gives you a clear picture on who they want to target. whether it be by race are age group.. they don’t have to say it directly because the music does that for you.

The More Obvious i can get is with Clothes, There’s Formal and Casual attire, There’s sports wear, and then There’s Urban apparel.

I Typed in “Urban People” in to Google and This was the first or image results.

I could even resort to food with Seasonings and Cuisines. They don’t come by Race, they come by culture based on nationalities at most.   with that said. you can’t call a Food item Ethnic.. See.. LOL..  The American Apple Pie and Hot Dog would be equally ethnic to Italian Pizza Pie and Pasta.  I guess it would be like associating Texas or Country Listeners with Barbecue .. Nah Just Joking,.. but you get it right?…

Where am I going with this?  Honestly, I was done  with the entry long ago, but I guess It’s In my Nature to   keep things going, Therefore I shall stop typing now.

Sexy Light Skinned People | A Facebook Group I Don’t agree With

 

So I’m on Facebook and I ran across this group. called “Sexy Light skinned people, with a Subtitle in parentheses (No disrespect to Dark skinned People)… I Despise of that . This group consists of 77 pages of photos of people who consider themselves “Light Skinned.  Some of them are Not Light skinned, Some of them are not Black people. and some of them are White.

At this point, I ask the question, Where do you draw the line? how is it that they don’t see  that they’re discriminating against their own people by doing this? I know  It’s not THAT serious, but I still think it’s stupid to have these folks round up for their photos to be judged on their looks as compared to their skin tone.... and the usual comment is this  “You Sexy” or “You Cute” smh.. What kind of world are they living in? lol…

Both Males and Females are in this group, they’re all of a Lighter skin tone. but had it been the early 1900’s they sure wouldn’t have made the cut. had it been Slavery they’d all be the first to put themselves up on the auction block too.   the reason I say this is because by acknowledging your skin tone as a way to separate yourselves from your darker brother and Sisters is letting the world know that you’re not comfortable with who you really are.

There You Have It.

These are The Black people who associate themselves with the Lighter shade of brown, or may call themselves Red, Redbones or Yellow Bones. Some of these people should do a double take and realize that they’ve just separated themselves from normal black people.

There were many other members who were Lighter than This bunch. But here, I wanted to show you how Dark “light skinned” can be.   These are the people who would have wanted to be “Accepted” back when It wasn’t cool to be “Colored”.

Feeling Under The Weather

Woke up this morning, Feeling heavy headed, it was hard to breathe, the house was hot.. I had a light headache yesterday as well. I guess it led to this..
It rained all morning,

My mom was feeling bad so we dropped her off at the doc, My dad wasn’t feeling good either. While my mom was at the Docs office, I went to the store to get something to snack on… Some Chee Wee’s and a Green PowerAde  I spent the waiting hour,  Facebooking and Tweeting from the Blackberry just because I can.

Afterward we went to The HANO offices. real nice looking center. once seated, i started feeling Queasy.. what made it worse is when the lady prayed disinfectant on the Kiddie table in front of the TV.. I went to the restroom to puke.. . Did that Twice and Cleaned up the area.. which the majority went in the toilet.. but I managed to clean it up pretty well….

Aside from that, ther were writings on the stall walls  saying thing like “i’m insane” and swallow your pride or cut out your tongue”.  it had something to do with being Trapped in the system.. I didn't bother to read.. I felt much better.

After that whole  I walked out of the restroom feeling slightly better.  After getting home I took two Tylenols and called it a day. Note. I’m still not well. but i’m good enough… I think that we all are feeling as my dad is feeling.. he threw up this morning as well.

With that all said.. I recently looked to see what was the cause of the Mucuis being yellow…  It had  much to do   with the Chee Weez, but also it basically said that it's one of the symptoms of the Cold, Flu or a Bacterial Virus… Therefore with that said.. I believe its the Virus.. and its likely i got it from my dad..LOL…
But yeah.. Life’s good. I hope i feel better soon.

Looks Like Their ABDC Journey is Over

The X-Treme Motion Dance Crew Did a great job, it’s just not something The folks on the main stream level want to see. Honestly the style is great for sporting events and half time entertainment because its all fast paced non-stop dancing. That along with The maneuvers and positioning make it all worth the watch.

What they normally do is usually seen from an over head view, so it works perfectly when you’re in the Midst of an Overhead crowd. But seeing it from a more leveled playing field made it seem a bit dull.

What the people want to see is pure uniqueness, not just a perfected version of an existing style. The World wants to see something unorthodox.  They want wild stunts like the Jabbawockeez pulled off a while back. Those guys were a Beast.

Tonight, Aside from XM,  I liked Jungle Boogie, Simply because it was a lot of Unnecessary Wild Ape-Like Mentality. (LOL)

I’m no dance Guru but I can say one thing. The X-Treme Motion’s moves were on point, so were the gyrations... “oh yeah”

Although the style of dance is common among our HBCU squads, The Nation isn’t used to seeing that kind of thing. so I commend them for taking it to the National Level and giving America a taste of The Class Act of The SWAC.

Once again though Hat’s off to X-Treme Motion! you did an wonderful job.  Let’s hope this isn’t the last time we hear from you all.

Lastly, I’m a Former member of the Ocean, So I GOTTA REP!.. Not only did they put HBCU Dance Troupes on the Map. But They’re are all Lifetime members of Texas Southern University’s “Motion Of the Ocean” and The Ocean of Soul Band.. So With that all I have to say is….

The Mississippi HBCU Merger: DOA!

The Other day I posted a blog in relation to the situation but it looks like the Merger is off! Isn’t that Great?! Here’s where I saw the news first.

Here’s where the News Story.

Mississippi’s College Board president said Thursday that a proposal to merge the state’s three historically black colleges was dead on arrival….

Dr. Ronald Mason proposed that Jackson State be renamed Jacobs State University and be combined with Alcorn State University and Mississippi Valley State University. The university would be named after H.P. Jacobs, a former slave, doctor and minister, who founded Jackson State.

The proposal also suggests getting rid of the tiger mascot in favor of a phoenix.

I know he meant well by renaming the school in honor of it’s founder, But the mascot too? Nah It just wont work, Podna!

All I can say is Thank You  to the Great Students and Alumni of the Mississippi’s HBCUs, For Standing Up to fight against this. Your actions spoke.

Who Owns Dat?

 

Come on Now NFL! Why can’t the people have some freedom of expression? Out of All Glory comes the Trademark Laws that restrict everything.

We all know the NFL Owns the Saints franchise. but why does it include the term “Who Dat?” and the Fleur De Lis?.  It’s like, We cant celebrate our team now because we’re barred from saying wearing The Color along with the Words and its symbol… Smh..  But If we Wear it all separately with no reference to the saints, then its okay… uhh.. That Sux.

How could we be part of The Who Dat Nation if we can express our love for our Team?

When you see a Fleur De Lis anywhere, No mater what color it is. you don’t say “Oh thats the

Saints Symbol” … but that’s what the NFL thinks..  One of our radio stations have been Bleeping out the words in the sake of satire after receiving a letter from the NFL telling them that they cant say certain things in reference to the saints.

Now Back to Who Dat!… It’s Just a Phrase. …There are other phrases and slogans Synonymous with the saints, but IMO it’s owned by the general public, not by The NFL.

“Bless You Boys” and “I Believe” are just  two Examples..

So NFL, What Can We Do? .. Can we sing the songs? Can we make fan signs? .. I’m just saying.. It aint that serious NFL. Lighten up a bit..

I can’t Agree With The Jacobs State Thing

Just as many of the Jackson State, Mississippi Valley and Alcorn State folks. I am totally against this merger. The Idea has been in the air for years and they’re finally moving forward with it. Why would you Merge the BIGGER black schools in Mississoppi? ..and how does the name “Jacobs State” come in to play?

IMO  it will ruin the traditions of each school. It would do much greater to just merge smaller schools with the Bigger HBCU’s. It’s crazy man.

I haven’t really found the time to write  in here because I've been busy with some other stuff.  I really have nothing to address at this point. but I guess I’ll write about something since I am Here.

I Now have my Twitter and facebook accounts connected, therefore anything i post via either service shall post where it needs to be.. Even This post will show up on my facebook page.

Just Imagine, I could have been Hooked up with a Job out in BR. but it would have required Relocation. I’m glad DJ looked out for me, but I had to turn that offer down.  I’m still dealing with problems in regard to Skill, training and well Education. Therefore I HAD to.

Phone Stuff: I’ve added Webwag on my phone. at once i had it as a homepage, it was cool for a while, I downloaded it because its an app… lol I have other apps on the phone but Webwag may be one i just might get rid of.. It’s not bad, its just that I don’t see myself really using it.

Still Needs to do That Myspace background for da Hunni, I don’t know how i’m gonna make it look though. she was like “colors of your choice” but i’m trying to grasp the concept.. I think i took the image from the PC in the other room/ I’ll go do that now.

I’ve been Thinking Backwards

Earlier today I had to Correct Dates on 100 Pictures ..lol I put “2009” on them, I also had to rewrite a blog post because of it. Man.. It’s not that i forgot.. but  I got used to putting Two Zero’s and well.. yeh..LOL

I guess man.. It’s 7:11, I woke up at 4. I’m about to hit the sack for a minute.

Proof that Twitter is a 3rd Party Website

See, when you do things on Facebook, it’s on Facebook Majority of the time. Most people access twitter from Mobile and Desktop API’s which cause them to spend Less time on the actual website.

Also, They upload pictures to Twitpic/Tweet Photo which is Not Twitter and has little to do with Twitter. I’ve seen people complain that Twitpic wouldn’t allow them to upload. The Twitpic people put out a statement saying “That’s a Twitter Problem, Not A Twitpic Issue” .. <== Basically! ..lol

The reason I did Join twitter is because it’s a good tool for Loging in to sites allow open ID sessions. I do the same with Facebook. . Majority of my Tweets are actually Youtube Comments. lol

In Light of nothing, I guess I’ll put it in these words.

My Teeth are bad, I Need serious dental work on at leas 3 teeth in the back of my mouth, the 2 main fronts are bad too and that sux, the chipped on is now scratched, the other has a hole on it. I wish I could get some veneers.

I may set up an appointment to tackle the main problems first, the decayed two in the back. one being the Wisdom tooth/ the other, just a tooth that had been cracked for over 6 years.  sad but true. its like. after the filling came out it all just got larger and larger till it broke..

I’ll touch on some other things later.

SMH, Stopping the Process doesn’t mean its deleted

So I’m trying to assist someone with getting rid of a virus. This person claims that she’s never had a Virus on her PC before.  after explaining to me what she was dealing with, I realized it was more than a Trojan, it was Rogue Software. She asked “How do I get Rid of it” because she tried manually and failed.

I Directed her to Microsoft Security Essentials. She then asked how does it work. and watched it do its job.  She was able to get rid of a Trojan but the Rogue software is still on it.  She tried Stopping the Process, I told her that it wouldn’t work.  So she asked me how to find hidden files because she wants to delete them manually. .. BAD IDEA!

Well, I showed her how to do it because she Doesn’t want to download Malwarebytes because she assumes it will not do anything.  I explained to her that It would.  but she’d rather do it manually. I told her that It’s a possibility that she’s going to corrupt her system. She also asked, If AVG couldn't get the Trojan, How was MSE able to. Well,  AVG  doesn’t have the same Virus database as Microsoft and I also would believe that The Microsoft product would scan the PC more Thoroughly. being that it’s a Microsoft Product.

With that said, Being that these programs are Free, and are also made to get rid of The Malicious file itself, does not mean that it will capture Everything. With that being said.  It’s why I asked her to Download Malwarebytes as well.
But still she Insists on doing it Manually.  I’ve even had her do the MRT prior to any of it. But see, the reason these programs don't catch The Rogue software is because the Rouge software initializes itself to start up prior to the free virus scanners.

Malware bytes on the other hand will tell you that “You must restart the PC to finish the process” and it’ll restart with No Problems. … but she doesn’t want to do that either.

My Other alternative to that would be to Log on in safe mode and THEN Run  MSE. why? because safe mode doesn't run applications at start up. If I were to tell her to do MSConfig she would mess her PC up. so I won’t do that. lol. As much as she wants to get rid of the malware, she’s trying her best to only suppress  it. That’s not enough.

and just as I said in the beginning, It’s not good to play around with system folders, because if you delete the wrong thing. you're PC will become Obsolete.

.. That’s all I have to say about that.

Cleaning House on this Machine

So I’ve managed to Back Up and Remove majority of the media from my Laptop in preparation for a New one.  All with exception of a my Photos and Programs that I can’t just Unload.

For example. I have a game called Stronghold Crusader on the laptop which is not on any PC in the house.  Aside from that. I have Windows XP themes that I’ve backed up for No apparent reason, because I really wont be needing those when I get my Seven.

My Dad wants the this laptop, I’ll be leaving the necessary programs and components on here for him to use. but until I get my the PC I’ll just keep the simple goods I have here already.

I’ve only use a 7 a few times as of today, but my  plan is to get something pretty Decent, doesn’t have to be Top of the Line, but it has to Be able to allow me to create and store media with ease. 

I like windows Vista and I know I’m going to Love a Seven.

Man, I'm Tired.

I Need to get back to sleeping at the right times again, Things are happening  fast and I'm missing out on. I want to attend that parade at St. Aug Saturday but I'm not sure if I'll Make it. You got Biden coming here like tomorrow (or is it tomorrow?) near my old neigborhood  ..and I won't be there for that.... It sux for me.

I've been watching my nephew, The Boy keeps doing unnecessary things and just getting in the way at most.  He he does the same thing over and over and catches tantrums when he can't have his way.. Therefore I deprived him of Candy for the past 2 days .. I will likely do the same for the rest of the month ..lol

Disastrous Quake: My Thoughts

I Talked Briefly to Sandra Via Text. Sandra is a Haitian friend of mine living in Florida, I was just asking how she was doing because I know she has family still here. It hurts her and I know how she’s feeling but at the same time I told her I really can’t find the words to express how I feel about it other than The fact that it reminds me of the Katrina Situation 100% just on a larger scale,

The Disastrous events don’t really compare but the situation of distress is the same. My heart goes out to every one there. As well as those here in America. Folks like Rush Limbaugh and Pat Robison have made heartless comments about the situation and it reminds me of how folks were saying New Orleans was Cursed and all this crap after Katrina.

Seems like when the Involves a Majority Black people find things to say that are just wrong. I don’t understand it but that’s the way of the world. Videos are probably popping up all over the place relating to the Movement of hatred, as they did with New Orleans. During 9/11 you had reports of conspiracy. but everyone became so patriotic with their love for America and the loss of the twin towers…

Folks Totally seemed to forget that People were in the Towers  That wasn’t a Natural Disaster but the situation affected Thousands. it was Americas Loss. New Orleans was an American loss as well,  but it wasn’t treated exactly the same.

The People blamed New Orleanians  for putting ourselves in that situation. You couldn’t blame those that died in 9/11 for Being in the wrong place at the wrong time, They had no clue. You can’t blame the people who were effected by the wildfires or Earthquakes in Cali,or the Tsunami in Indonesia or other Disastrous situation. Yet, Every time a disaster happens on our land, They Blame New Orleans for taking FEMA’s money and Being too lazy to do something on their own. at the end of the day.. IMO It Makes Those who say things like that look bad. because at the end of the day, they’re complaining…  Basically In denial that they really want the aid. 

Back to Haiti…

The craziest thing 'I’ve heard is that they’re planning on opening GITMO to house survivors. Sounds like a good thing, yet it’s a prison. That’s an Instrument of Martial Law on Citizens of another country  that will technically be on American soil.

I even thought It would be nice to fly them over to house in America. but at the same time they’d be put in Prison camps. I hate to put it  that way, but that’s just the way it is. ..

The “Defense Department”  is getting involved.. Defending Them from who? Themselves?  That’s Martial Law. ..Exactly, Just like New Orleans..

Another Comparison is this… Just Like The situation where New Orleanais were being shot trying to find shelter in Jefferson after Katrina,  The people of Haiti are trying to cross the boarders in to the Dominican republic and according to CNN there have been reports of gunfire. shame.

Clear reminder that the some folks can care less about other human beings.

Never Blame the People for Living where they live. it’s just proof that you can’t dodge a natural disaster. Just like Death, it’s a part of life. Some folks need to wake Up, Open their minds and see the obvious.
The People of Haiti needs all the help they’re getting. If you’re against the relief efforts you shouldn’t say anything about the situation.

When I got the news that he died, this song was the first to come to mind.  why? Not only because  it was played nearly ever day every hour during the Gulf War or that it was the Army’s Recruitment advertisement Video tune. but on the Day I came back to New Orleans in 2006, It was one of the first song I’d always hear on Morning Radio.

The IMO  Song represents a generation of people who wanted change and had the power to do it. and they Sang about Life, what’s real, and what needs to be done. and its wild because we're in a world where everything is broken and needs to be fixed...

Teddy Pendergrass is a legend. I came up on many of tunes, Slow Jams at the most part.
As well as Having heard his music played by marching bands all over South

Is It War?

Man, So I saw the news today and I was.. Not necessarily shocked, But I think it’s a shame. too many of these younger men are getting themselves Killed over things that are not worthy of dying for.

I don’t think they realize that Murder can’t be stopped here. Everybody wants to be Thugs.. Why? Nobody Knows. one thing folks don’t know is that it’s not something that just suddenly happens, they grow up with it in or around their households.  and The Retaliation factor can go back years passed.

Between 15 and 25  Is about survival in those streets,  It’s like Iraq and everybody is a terrorist.  I say that because for every person that is Killed, a Family has to suffer a loss.  A loss that could be Financially, Emotionally, Personally damaging to a family.

The folks I deal with are all somehow due to special interest as related to an organized unit. Never just a random load of Monsters ready to attack.

it’s a shame man, It’s  being at war and dodging bullets every day.

I’ll have more to say later on.

For the past 2 weeks T-Mobile has sent me voice mail regarding a phone I had to return... Well I sent it off but I don't think it got to them...

I asked my dad to take it to UPS, he stopped some random delivery guy in a truck who said he'll take care of it... Well its been. Long time and I'm still being called by t-mobile. Why? Maybe the package is lost.. I hope not though..

it sux though.. They sent me a phone that has a bad j button... Smh... And the receiver sounds all buzzed out ... But hey I'm good.. It works... I just hope they get their phone and leave me alone.

This Man doesn’t make any sense

For some reason He downloaded a Virus . Maybe thinking it was something important, which it didn’t install, The MSE caught it it was sitting downloading on the desktop as a broken download.

The PC was off so I should have known Something was wrong… but oh well it’s gone now. this is all because my dad was searching for something. bad enough I ‘ cant get rid of a Search box thing he has up here because its configured in Firefox and can’t be reset.

Here’s what was caught.

TrojanDownloader:Win32/FakeVimes

It’s a Rouge program, all that means is that it downloads other malware on to your PC and gives off false warnings of viruses and threats.

Looks Like the real deal, but its not.  They come with Various Names like “Antivirus 2009” and “Extra Antivirus”

looks pretty much like Microsoft Security Essentials too. 

well hey.. It didnt activate so thats great, or i would have been up here all day scanning the pc.. lol

Manny Bruno is a Joke

This dude was on WWL4 Morning News a earlier making both Eric and Sally-Ann feel very uncomfortable.  Maybe if he would stop his comedy act for a minute he’d be taken seriously.  He talked about how he failed at comedy.. well You’re going to fail in politics too with that approach.

I didn’t watch the debate he was part but I guess I didn’t need to.

Honestly, Many Comedians analyze political situations in an Unconventional way. but  many have common sense / Realist based comments when involving political comedy..  But what Bruno was talking was fairly unnecessary.  New Orlenians Don’t Want that in a Mayor.

I’m not Big on politics, but  You can see that he wasn’t serious. I was listening for something good, but all I got was a Joke..

Yeah, I’m Late at reading this but I just felt the need to share it.

I wrote In My Blog But is it wrong?

Nope, I don't think so... because sometimes I feel like I can tell anyone anything. and writing it here is like Telling nobody, yet publically. because to be honest I want those who i write about to know.

Sometimes even when talking to people I love, there are just things that I can’t talk to them about. Its not like I’m holding back. but Honestly I don’t like to make people angry with me. Unfortunately I have upset folks since the time I've written here.

You know, Its like. I already know, The situation with talking about people or rather a situation involving people. Anytime you mention a name in anything that can feed out. It can be searched and found.
In this case, Qui’s read about the Situation involving  the Laptop, and the other with both her and Kandi, and the truth is, I wrote how i felt about the situation as it was going on. When I got Hanged up on or I'm told “I dont want to hear it” .. so when its like that I write.. who else can i talk to.. Nobody. I don’t talk about friends with friends about every situation. I usually and honestly have no clue what's going on…
but when I’m accused of lying about things i don't know about I NEED to write about it..

Now .. With that said..
 
If I wrote about it then, It doesn’t Necessarily Mean that’s how i feel now. it means that I was expressing my feeling at the moment. something I couldn’t say to those who are shunning me away. 

Going back to that situation. Honestly, I haven't talked to Kandi  since September. She steadily asked about the situation and I had little to say. so I let her talk at the time..  all i can say was “yeah, I agree, Yeah I agree, No.. But” or I'd speak in defense of Qui..  at the end, kandi would say her part and hang up… I’d get on the phone with Qui and she’s like “What are u telling Kandi” .. and I’m not saying Anything.. just listening..  But she doesn't want to believe me. she believed Corey. yet Corey was on the phone with kandi nearly every time i got on the phone with her.. It’s Like “What Am I supposed to say when I’m just listening”??? lol

I tried to be a mediator even though I don’t want to be involved I honestly felt like crap at the time.. because One person trying to tell me I'm lying while the other’s asking for info.. I'm like I Really Don’t Know….. LOL
Now she’s reading that. and seeing how I felt at the time and Is telling me that I should have talked to her about it. How could i talk to you when you’re mad?

It’s the prime reason I’m not saying anything now to her. The situation is old. Secondly as she said.. I don't have to Explain because she read it … It’s not like its all bad.. I just Hate to be involved in things I really have nothing to do with.. and that’s how i felt at the Time..

It’s not like I mentioned what was Done during those visits.. that would be 2 confusing stories one saying what she did, the other making assumptions and getting mad because she felt like her “Sister” tried to get with some Ex of hers. who just happened to be living in the same room dorm with her illegally.. Both feel like They broke friendship because they wanted to take up for the dude. who was Totally wrong for doing what he did.. Qui Tried to be a friend and clear it up. and Kandace took it totally wrong.. So I'm Stuck in the middle  eventually i stopped talking to Kandace because 1 she was in school, 2. I didn't feel like hearing about it…  With that.. Qui said she didnt want to hear anything about it .. a months later she mentions it in a post, then Corey says something.. and she just throws me under a bus as far as believing that  I was talking To Corey.. I honestly don’t talk to that dude unless he’s on the phone 3 or 4 way with us .. Corey thrown in to it by Kandace She talked to him. and was telling me “don't tell qui Corey knows”.. yet I'm sitting here like Okay …So I was Thru with the whole thing …. At the end of the day  it’s Old, It’s Done With.. and shouldn't matter now.

Qui said she was leaving it alone .. But since she brought it up. it’ll be a totally new story… especially when she reads this..

Now Back To The Beginning..

Am I wrong for writing this in my blog.. No Because In my blog.. Do I care that my readers read, Not really because I don’t have many every day readers.  I mean, If you really read my blog, its not like a constant story where you’d know everything about me.  It’s only like that every now and then.  The Main reason i Write here is to get stuff out of my head that I can’t talk to folks about. 

Prime Example, When I broke up with my Ex, She Knew I was going to put how i felt in my blog. she read it and we even talked about it on the phone. and I harshly despised of that girl because of what we both new went on.  But its over and its old it has little relevance now.   With that  said, No Mater how Current or far off a situation is. once it is said and done. its over. I really can’t say much for how I felt at the time.

I’m always going to speak my mind here because I can clear my head without talking to anyone. that's just what I do. and as real a i can be. I ain’t really trying to hurt anybody.. and Yeah I do feel bad now. but what’s said was then, and I can’t take it back, nor am I deleting it off my blog..  I feel that it shouldn’t matter now.. Simply because it’s old…

and I’m really trying to forget about it.. but hey.. she looked for it and got what she was looking for.. even tho she wasn’t coming for that..  

What do I to Do now?  .. I really don’t know.

LOL TNA’s getting better. Looks like a Low Budget WCW with this “Different” set up” from normal.. I’ll be flipping in 4 minutes..lol

Oh man! I got a wake up call from J asking for a favor.. Mission accomplished.  and They like it. I know it wont be the final mark up but I think its a great thing!..I feel good about that. I hope they take it to another level like “They Say” …

Bounce, Bounce, Bounce, Bounce!

So yeah, I’ve been online searching for some Break beats, I ran across all the right links  Unfortunately none of them worked.  What I did find was http://nolabounce.com/

What I’m looking for is The “Brown Beats” which was a bonus track from Cameron Paul’s Beats & Pieces 1987, I found a Rip on Youtube but I don’t want to download the youtube clip. I want a good enough Mp3.   (James Brown’s voice is the big reason its called that)

I don’t think Cameron Paul’s Albums are even on circuit.  What I’ve come across is a Bounce site full of info about the beats and origins. I’m glad that its out there. What I’ve Known for a while about bounce origins as compared to the stuff i see now its just wild.

What you have is  a song called “Rock The Beat”  by Derek B. the Late Rap Legend from the UK, who originally rapped  to the particular Brown Beat I’m looking for.

I think is wild that when you look at the Origins of the Both That and Trigger man, The Bounce Influence was  a Combo of New York &  UK Beats and a Live Concert Call and Response Style.  

You look at what its turned to now  and you’re hearing the same few Break beats with Faster Tempos and a Whole load of Unnecessary bounce artists. but its Cool because It all Began when the DJ’s  Like DJ Irv (The Originator) who  took those beats and got with some good enough rappers to Not only Create, But  Innovate both New Orleans bounce and Rap styles.  Many of the Pioneers in our game died in the mid 90’s like Daddy-O and Pimp Daddy… but we also had Warren Mayes and DJ Jubilee and Countless others.. I Remember TakeFo Records had Bounce On Lock.. Good Times Good Times..
I’m Not really a Fan of this New Bounce, but I can Roll with some PnC and from 95 all day ..LOL!..
I Ran Across some more Recent stuff from the Mid 90’s and Early 2000’s but none of the links worked.

I even Saw this by way of the Bounce Website as well . T. T. Tucker got caught doing his “Cigarette Man” Thing.  That’s wild to me.
