Good Time Last Night Though.

Yesterday was my sister’s 3 year anniversary so they had a white party. they also had a cake. I was there taking pictures. …once I started, I didn’t stop. But I was good man. I even got a chance to play with another camera, I Nikon. Not sure what model but it wasn’t a pro model. 

Generally, I was good, Today I’m Tired. but i’m good. Timing was pretty normal I left that place at like between 12:30am & 1:00am. Generally I gotta put this stuff on to a PC.  Most people think these pictures are going on facebook. NOPE! ..lol oh well “DONE!” LOL

Tomorrow they’re supposed to be having something early, but I won’t be there ..  gotta do some stuff for The NOAASB… Man They should get some Plain black shirts that say “The Band” on them. that would be TIGHT!

You Know Something… I Hate

NOISE.. NOISE NOISE…  I can’t get any sleep with all the noise that get's made over here. The nephew is over here and from the time the came in.. Noise Noise Noise.. my nieces seem to support his noise by telling him to “shut up” rather than asking him what’s the problem. 

Weeeeeeeeell…. i got up out of my slumber and there here  was asking for coke.. my niece had the coke but my nephew was just standing there.. so I got it and gave him some…. Then it got quiet… Right!… WRONG!  The Boy goes back to them.. Noise Noise Noise..  okay and they waited to AFTER I wake up to leave the house. What Up With that?! lol

Monday Randomness

I’m about to try to get some sleep an get up for at least 10. I’m supposed to be going somewhere so I gotta make that happen like now.

I spent the night watching the BET Awards. it was pretty Decent. The Folks i expected “Hood” out of didn’t take it that far.

I wont get too deep into details about what I thought of the show other than the fact that it was decent.

There were a few odd moments, but it was good for TV. I enjoyed the Tribute to the recently deceased artists at most. Patti Labelle could have been honored in a greater fashion as well.  .. Iight I’m done with that! lol

Folks were Tweeting up a storm about it. They had “Illuminati” Trending, Which is funny to me because because the people just throw The Illuminati out there like a brand rather than the mysterious tool which creates the distraction.

I Enjoyed it all …

Chavo Guerrero was released by the WWE. and his statement was basically that he wasn’t happy. It would be great to see him in TNA. but I doubt he’d go any time soon.

I also saw some UWF stuff and I hope they get big.  the only bad thing is. They’re promoting it in a bad way IMO.

Taz vs Bam Bam Bigelow | ECW

This match is legendary. Taz seemed to ready to take everything, that is until they were outside. Bigelow practically slaughtering him through the rest of the match. Joey Styles wasn’t making it any better LOL!.  I’m not sure what year this was, but I know it had to be after Bam Bam went to WCW.  The Dude was in Good shape too.  This was a REAL match. they don’t come like that much these days,

Taz was a Monster to defeat him!.. The Kata Ha Jime!  The TAZMISSIOIN!  For the Count out!

Hopefully This all goes through

Basically I need to get  to working fast. The Time has always been of the essence and now I have to show it.  If I could make The money I need to pay these people what they need. It’ll get done. It’ll be over. It’ll be All good. But now it’s time to get it going. I’m glad the bar hasn’t been raised.  I could be paying a whole lot more. I just hope it goes at i think it will. But first, I must make the move!

Tomorrow

Hopefully I’ll be in good spirits, that way I can get things done. It’s worth starting now. I’ve been talking for too long and not doing I guess I got Hit with my own Facebook Status “Politicking”  I made decisions that work for my interest, but that were not working for anyone else. It’s My Issue. I got to make that happen. Don’t want to jeopardize That Trip either. That may be done.

It seems like its going to be easy to do.. yet hard  hard to begin with.

The Wake Up Call

From the time I left Houston, I’ve been sitting on debt.  A debt that has just come back to bite me. and now I must work, and work, and work toward paying that debt off. It hurts to tell folks what I don’t have and what i’m really doing with myself. but I really need to get something done to get tat paid. Over $6000 i have been sitting on. it’s a shame but its all my fault.

I think in over  all those years 'I’ve spent over $6000 personally but I wouldn’t know. I haven’t had a bank account since Washington-Mutual closed. Now I need to make that happen. I just got off the phone with an agent and i got his personal extension number. He told me the options that i can have for paying. and I'm good with it. on my end all i need is a job. because there’s nobody i can get to help me. I honestly don’t want anyone's help. I think I need to hurry up and find work to get this done.

In a years time over 520 a month would make that happen.  I’m frustrated but It’s about time it’s happened because I need to do something with my life. I've been broke for 6 years doing what ever it is I want to do. But Now The Games are over. I got that wake up call and i need to make these payments ASAP>  1 year from now I hope not to be in debt.

It’s Raining

Man, With all these showers I should Lay back down.  I’m not thought. I want to blog about something. A number of things. Some things i don’t know how to approach right now. But nothing big. therefore I have Live Writer open and ready to post.

I told my folks about the trip
And I got and unsupportive reaction out of them. mainly my dad. It’s not like they can stop me from going though. my mom was more concerned with expenses even though i told her that it’s already paid for.  My dad didn’t even bother to listen. he just started saying a bunch of dumb stuff about The Turmoil going on there & being in the military and even after i told him the reason he asked why, for what reason.   What Kind of stuff is that?!

On my part I need to find a job Quick, Part time, Full time whatever so I can work up about $3000 to get some times for myself.  I’m not bringing that much with me, it’s just to get things for myself to make my trip one worth while. Got to make it happen. because I’m tired of being told I can’t do. even if it is direct. Nobody gets this kind of opportunity

Researching Now, Preparing For What's To Come.

I’m currently looking up clinics for vaccinations and general information on traveling outside of the country. What I’ve found has been very informal yet scary. i even got tips from a friend. I think I’ll take heed to that. I’m preparing to apply for a passport. I’ll begin that process Monday. I hope they take pictures there. Providing one wouldn’t be a problem. i know my boy Roy said he took his at Wal-Mart.

The Reason is because I’m preparing to travel out of the country for an event in the fall. I’ll expound on that event in another blog maybe later on.  The reason I don’t want to do that now is because I really don’t want to Jinx the trip. Till Then I’ll continue to research to be aware of my surrounding and hopefully will be 100% prepared by that time.

Phyllis Hyman & Angela Bofill on the same stage. I ran across this yesterday when asking the “Angela or Phyllis “ to my folks on Facebook. then i went to YouTube There I found the video. isn’t it great!.

As you can see, they both love what they do and are great at it. Too bad Phyllis decided to commit suicide. she would have probably still been making hits today.

Fedora is a nice OS

I was using Fedora for about 10 minutes yesterday I didn't accomplish anything on it other than playing solitaire. It’s great. and unlike previous live disks I've had. this one actually works with the web. it would be nice if i could install that on a hard drive as the actual OS. I think there was an area where i could create a partition or virtual space. but that’s not really what i want out of it.

I have to look for those old Live OS disks i have. One of them is actually installed on a system too. I have an old version of CentOS too but I think Fedora way better.

There’s More Out There

I think i was looking to hard, shouldn’t have been on my mind either. I guess It’s the way it is.  But There’s more out there. I guess I should have realized it when i got the call a few weeks ago. But when it was said, I thought little of it. But now that i’ve seen  the signs. I know it will be done and probably soon.

At this point the search continues. I hope it all works out in the long run. To be honest I kinds saw it coming from one end. but on the other end it seems like things were shaky.  I hope it doesn’t get that way again. because things like that are supposed to last forever. 

Sometimes I wonder how it would have went if I would have capitalized on it. It’s was like being there and then it was nothing. yet the fire still burns. someday that fire will go out.  but getting there takes a level of awareness and coming to terms with the idea that It wont happen for me.

At the end of the day.. There’s more out there..

Sound Travels Where the Wind Takes It

Some dude got mad at me for saying that on YouTube. It all started out with folks accusing me of Turning down the volume of my videos.  Why would I do that?  I had to explain to these cats that The band is either not playing with enough power to cut thru the currents of the wind. Nor were they as close as the band near by me.

they dont realize that When Recording , These cameras mic will pick up the sound closest it, Any sound in the distance would be slightly decreased based on location and how the wind levels are. I was not standing near by this band, I was across the field from them. of course they wont be as loud.

They were wondering why the second song they played wasn’t as loud as the first.  I explained that their band wasn’t putting enough work to produce a sound at the same level of intensity as the tunes both before and after. that’s clearly why the songs was lower.

aside from that One one tune, the crowd is rowdy due to what was going on during the game..  on another tune, the drummers behind me were playing..  Those things matter. it’s not much i can do about capturing sound at an equal rate. no mater where I'm standing. The only way would have been Mid-field. yet there’s a game going on i cant stand it the middle

The dude was like “how stupid do you sound” .. I'm like dude go take a quantum physics course…  We’re dealing with Frequency Levels of sound and wind vs. Acoustics of a stadium maybe not as much of the acoustics being that the stadium is open yet due to its shape i can say that. because on my end you can clearly hear an echoed sound out of the band i was standing by..

Folks Miss-judge the work i do because they can’t do it.  and the sad part about it the cats who said it were young and probably don’t know anything about anything…

Mashed Potatoes With Meatloaf & Gravy..

and green peas on the side! YUP! that was a meal about 2 days ago if you count todays date. Today was Red beans.. leftover meatloaf .. and Sauerkraut too. Technically that was 2 different meals with Rice.. but the meatloaf was also cooked up.  what’s crazy is I didn't get any Sauerkraut… sux! lol

Finally got some time

I spent most of my day yesterday and the day before actually, preparing a PC for my brother. It’s my old XP. I was actually trying to load music on it from my external but it conked out on me, I almost thought it was a problem with my hard drive. which i still need to defrag it.. i’ll do that now while I’m up,

Generally what i was doing was preparing the PC for General usage. making sure it was up to date and less vulnerable to viruses. & malware. I was able to accomplish that. The only problem is that it’s outdated and is slow when using some programs. other than that it’s good enough for simple usage.  it’s a windows XP with like an 80gb Hard drive 2gb of ram and a single 32 bit processor.  there aren’t many programs on the thing but it still works.

We weren’t using it here, so i decided that instead of my brother having his services cut off. I’d just give him the PC we weren’t using. I think im going to remove my DVD burner from it in a few minutes. .. I hope it does him well.  There were other things I needed to blog about I just couldn’t come up with a way to get them out of my head.. Other than that.. i’m Done!

Random Tuesday

Sitting here awaiting nothing…My Sister & her kids are supposed to be coming over today. My Brother had an appointment with the eye doctor, I also talked to my older brother in regard to the burglary. he was asked by NOPD to print some forms, I couldn’t find them online though.

After all these Documentaries I slacked on making DVD’s for now. I don’t want to run out of Disks. I like to be informed, even if it is through media. as long as truth is being acknowledged at it’s finest. LOL Can’t believe everything though.

I’ve been Observing These cats out here man. I think one day I’m going to have to Roll camera when I stumble up on random activity. got to catch folks in action and put them on YouTube! LOL

Which reminds me that I still have a lot of video to move from PC to External Hard Drive. I’ll look into that after I'm done installing this encyclopedia!..lol .. Yes it’s that serious.

I’m bound for making a dental appointment. I don’t want to be 40 without teeth. LOL I hope this  thing is cheap, I hope it’s good cause i really need these suckers fixed..

I was invited to attend the battles this summer with the Alumni Band… Good Work. I hear they' got some good tunes and are beastin’ them. folks want me to march, but I’d rather take pictures and video. I’m glad i have my photo camera. I also hope things go well regarding that full trip.

Getting These Documentaries In

I Just ran across tome old Footage In regard to the Black Panther Party, as well as some recorded Spike Lee Stuff that someone had converted Tape to DVD. in total it was 3 TV Documentaries and a movie. Two of the documentaries was about Heuy Newton One with Roger Smith as Newton. it was a very entertaining way to hear the story of Huey P Newton as if he were still alive.

It also influenced me look up some things on youtube as well.. Interviews and things of that nature.  some of that stuff i had already seen in the past though. Another Documentary was about Fred Hampton The other was a movie made in 95 called panther. I have that one on DVD already but it came in a 4 Films on 1 disk ISO . so i got it

Otherwise I ran across a bunch of TV Documentaries which were downloadable Via Torrent which were also taped. I'm Still putting this one together.   the first 4 is called “A Century of Self” a BBC TV Documentary-series. I have to check them all out. but they all will get burned to DVD first. then erased of course.

I like to watch documentaries, especially the ones that are informal. in regard to economics, human nature, product development and elements of history.   it’s better than watching movies..LOL!

I’m Out.

Nearly a week and still feeling it.

As i said a few days ago. while on the trip I slipped and fell I bruised my rib area on the left side, along with my left forearm. i can still feel the pain in my rib area. but not in the direct spot where it hurts most unless that area is pressed against.  i know all its gonna take is probably another week to feel normal again but it sux. LOL

Originally i saw the lump on my arm. there was no visible color change. now the lumps gone down but I feel it.  feels crazy

Lite? C’MON MAN!

So I ordered one of them Philly Cheese Steak Pizzas and for some reason the steak was Lite. That sucks! .. I think it’s an okay pizza, just not one I prefer to eat more than 2 slices of. I should have gotten the veggie pizza! That sucka is off  the chain!.

I gotta let my nephew know that it’s here…

The Mountain in the park isn’t something new.

I Recently saw the it on Chanel 6 News and That was my thought Exactly….

To be honest, I thought they had dismantled it. because the last time I was in that area. i couldn’t tell what was going on .. The gates were no longer there. nor were the signs that stated its location.

Back in 2004, I stumbled upon the mountain while walking my dog Cheddar through City Park.  I even Blogged about my discovery. after i got home that day I did some research to figure out exactly how tall it was. and it sure was taller than Monkey Hill.  It’s official name now is “The Mountain”.. which is funny because the title of my original blog about the thing was “I’ve been to the mountain top” LOL!

amongst the few rest benches along the trail, There was an Amphitheatre likely meant for an exhibit of some sort. I believe the spot was part of a project dealing with plant research as well. I may have to visit it.

it’s probably been the highest point in N.O for the past 10 years now. I mean hey It was constructed while i was in high school from what i know….

Just got that 1 Terabyte External

I went to get an external Hard drive tonight to transfer my Videos. I only have about 265GB of Videos. but that’s basically half of my Current 500gb hard drive. I saw the 1TB hard drives for $99 Bucks. So i Took a chance to get it. Before than… it came up to be $86   I’m good with that!

I’m Now Transferring Video files from one hard drive to the other. I think I'm going to do both  Video files and video related files. to hold my core collection of work, DVD ISO’s and other projects. I’ll see how that works out.

As you can see…. TIME!

“Josh Laptop” is actually a folder on my external lol the other name is the name of my external yep.

Shame Shame Shame

Yesterday After the coming home from the Trip. My brother went to his home only to find that it was burglarized. They took his TV, Laptop and a photo of my deceased grandpa. what was left over was a skirt. who could have done it? well it’s likely a male and a female.  This all made me question who could have done it.  We may not know who. yet we just may know. based on the fact that  they took a photo of my grandpa amongst the 2 electronic things. That’s the kind of thing that hurts. yet it’s also STUPID.

It makes us feel like a relative did it…. They came through a window and just grabbed the quickest thing they can find. they also may have been looking for money. They went thru his drawers only to find clothes.. Now My Brother will likely Move out of that area because of it… It’s crazy because before Christmas my sisters TV’s Laptop’s were stolen.   I also just heard about another recent robbery which happened in Metairie.. It’s sad man..

Meanwhile….

Going On that trip made me realize that something that i got upset about a month ago should not have mattered at all. because from the get go I knew I was going on the trip to Orlando. at the same time. my assumptions were incorrect and i went babbling like crazy..  Also..  The Event didn't happen. I thought it was funny to answer emails  telling folks that the battles have been canceled… They went NUTS!

I think I’m going to chill for the remainder of the night. change my sheets and lay down… But before that I must tell you why I was aggravated. 

Basically the whole time my older brother reminding me that i don't have a job  or cant drive by bringing it up in various forms. whether it be about Life, fun.. anything to ruin my time out there… aside from that he just wants to know everything i do and tell me about everything that i may end doing that isn’t a real job…   I know what I want to do with my life. I just need a job to keep me grounded right now.   it had nothing to do with conversations we were having throughout the trip.    It doesn’t get to me, but i think it’s inappropriate to do while vacationing out of state..  The sad part is that he also did it to my niece and my sister..  he says he was aggravated by us but he was the one causing all of his own issues.  shame..

Back In The N.O.

We left Florida early this morning, stopped a few times and even ate at whataburger prior to getting here. it was a packed ride but it was better than going! sometime between last night and tonight I had an one small issue .. GAS.. yep I was blowing up during the whole ride back… LOL

Aside from that I bruised my arm and rib area while falling on a slide at a the Wet N' Wild water park. Hurts…. It’s crazy though. Altogether we have over 600 pictures too. Hopefully I’ll sleep it off tonight.

During the Trip. I had minor issues of being aggravated but they weren’t all that big.. at least not to speak on now. Overall, it one of the best trips I had ever been on…. Now it’s time to allow the healing process to begin! ..LOL

Checkin' In Once again

After a wild day at Universal I'm back... More Rides, More craziness, more confusion more everything. but it was all fun. Earlier I checked in on bandhead,org just to inform folks of my vacation.  Just to start some crazy conversation like there used to be...

Back to the Universal... LOL yeah.. we were on the Island of adventure side. i got on a few rides 3 and 4 times. others once.. I hated the fact that me being big killed time for cerrtain rides. and among that family related stuff slowing us down. in the end. i got me 2 hats and my 3 year old nephew a "Thing 3" shirt.. the character from Dr. Suess. Funny because i have Thing 1 & 2 Hats ..LOL .. I'll wear them with red stuff i guess. LOL!

Overall Time was great. 2morrow we relax and probably shop.  Tuesday. we ride home!

Great Day at Universal!

I had to get this post in before the day was over .. central time at least.. LOL...but yeah The family and I spent nearly 10 Hours on the road getting here we got here at about noon friday but where looked out technically due to the fact that we were standing at the wrong place. When we got in. we chilled and rested for the next day....

We're in a Random Condo Resort where there a Ire also living residents. kinda cool!. I'm currently outside online because the connection sucks indoors.  .... I just tried calling somebody to let them know im outside. don't want'em to forget! lol.. I've enjoyed my weekend so far,., Meanwhile Im getting all kinds messeges regarding events that were supposed to be taking place on the 5th.. they were canceled  and i posted that on facebook last week.. They read, yet  still asked. smh..lol

Anyway man.. back to my vacation!.. LOL  yeah I realize that this place we're in is technically built in support of the 2 big theme parks. most businesses along the main strip are either hotels, Gaming areas, mini theme parks, resturants, gift shops or Resorts with them all... I love it all, yet it's so expensive. 2 days over $100 a person just about for a day. and we're a group of 8 ... wild..

I myself was entertained. the various rides, attractions were typically what i expected but they were all good. I I'd post photos now but I don't feel like putting in the work.  I will probably post photos when i get back home.   Today was a workout. Did alot of walking. in that park and aferwards i did alot of Buffet'ing ..LOL we went to a random chinese resturant.  over all the packed spots that were here.. it was cool though  Universal Studios was great. Hopefully I'll come back out here in the future for Disney.. We've got more Univeral to see tomorrow.  I'll probably blog more about that too.

In light of our venture, I’m about to make a CD, of what? i don’t know. but im about to go through the disk and put some stuff on it. hope they like it because it’s all we’re going to have all ride. LOL!

We’re in for a 10 Hour ride. It should be about 12 Hours actually, if you include the gas breaks. Hopefully we’ll get in, get rest, get up and Do stuff!.  I'm not sure if i should bring my video or photo cams.. so i’ll just bring Both LOL! Off to Disney World I Go! LOL

Which Resort shall we take up? I think Epcot would do for me. The Magic Kingdom just seems too old fashioned and out dated for me.  LOL! Hope I get some great pictures in. this thing trip will be nice! yes it will! LOL I really want to hit up Universal studios. I’ve wanted to go there as a kid just because that's where nickelodeon was.. and Back to the Future and all that goodness.  I know there was a fire a few years ago. some things aren’t there but I know TNA is there!  Hopefully we’ll get to check out the impact zone. that would be great!

only 5 hours till we really hit the road. this is gonna be crazy!

Preparing Now

I’m guessing we’re going to hit the road pretty soon. I have my coins ready. I’m actually trying to prepare Tuna. That ride should be like 12 Hours. I wish I was driving to head out. I hope my time there is amazing. I probably won’t post a blog til afterwards. I just hope everything goes well out there.

Tonight’s going to be a good night..lol well a long one. I hope iget some rest while in the car hope we aint all bunched up. i just know we will be LOL!  This is gonna be great!..lol

A Whole Bunch of things

I just read something that was the most obvious of obviousness. I won’t say exactly what it is. But I do think it wasn’t necessary to put out that way. And another thing is that when you’re part of something, don’t make it seem like you’re the one who invented it. It’s the kind of thing that makes folks change their minds.
I’m Almost done Packing, Hopefully we make it there in  time! We’re still wondering what we should do first!. LOL I hope I’m awake before 6. so i can finish packing. we Leave like Tonight…. or at least in the AM.. that's like 9 hours away!.. lol

To put some other things into perspective. when I get back playtime is over. I’m glad i don’t have anything to do this month. next month I actually do want to go to Houston. but i don’t think I’ll be able to make it for personal reasons. The sad part is that I’ll miss out. but hey, The beat goes on. I'm just glad i played a role in it somehow.

I can’t seem to grasp it all though. I see all the jumpers  just riding tail on the bandwagon. The sad part is that the try to cover it up when they get caught slippin’.  The double standard of it all is that when it happens with them, they fabricate the excuses to seem like legitimate reasons. but it doesn’t work like that all the time.

Oh man, and These cats are stupid. The only reason I won’t ban them is because they’re active members. other than that yeah. They’re not thinkers…. lol

The crazy part is that some folks have been wiped up, while others are get all the shine. they don’t care, they’re just in it for the joyride.  Can’t bring it to their attention because they’d pull a double whammy on ya!..  I can’t take credit for artwork i didn’t do.  why watermark a photo i didn’t take…  alot of  folks do that on youtube  but I’m leaving all that aside as i breathe for a week ..LOL!

Can’t wait till i get there. yet at the same time I seriously hope that things go 100% I’m glad I got a call back too. Next week is the trial. I think I’m going to hibernate for most of the day. I’m actually waiting for someone to come get a DVD. which reminds me that i have to burn another copy.
